What is Accra Pictures by Day and Night?

Accra is the capital of the small, West African country of Ghana, which achieved its independence in 1957 from its colonial master, the United Kingdom. It celebrated 50 years in 2007, and is projecting itself fast and furiously as "gateway to West Africa".

It's an exciting city, with its unique problems, but with it close to the Atlantic ocean, and many beaches, who can resist coming here?

hey emmanuel, happy new year to you too. hope you had a good start.
concerning Accra DP it might be useuful to inform Denton to 'reinstate' your blog as a daily photo one. i have indeed changed the 'dormant' to 'other' photo blogs. yet note a lot of DP have taken you off the daily photo list ... so a note to denton might be of help to add you back to the lists. hope this helps.

E, this certainly does look like any other bus. I congratulate you. In a weird way Accra looks suspiciously like Richmond upon Thames http://richmonduponthamesdailyphoto.blogspot.com/index.html

On the otherhand, the weather here is too gloomy.

Best to you!!

Sadly we are cutting back on bus service in my daily photo city. The logic is that the buses are not used enough to justify the expense. The logic is all wrong. Public transport is always worth the expense.
