Asanka Locals Chop Bar: A Great Place to Eat
Located in the heart of the capital (OSU: Re), where one can find a number of hang-outs for both ex pats and Ghanaians alike, this is not a place where one does, receives, or views any "chopping".
In the local parlance, "chop" means "eat", so a "chop bar" is a place where you go to eat--and not necessarily a bar, even;-)
If ever you find yourself in Ghana, and specifically OSU, ask for it. The prices are reasonable, and you can find a wide variety of food there.
Good weekend!

That does look like a great place to stop by for a bite to eat.
Are all buildings in your city this colorful? I hope you'll show more photos of Accra's streets and buildings. I'd love to see them.
Cheers.
Interesting commentary.
What are those words under "Chop Bar" ?
fenix--many apologies for replyig so latre. For the pastg few weeks, I have seen red over probs with the computer;-) To return to your comment, Ghana enjoys colour--sometimes in the wrong places!! Will definitely honour your request! Thx for visiting.
ann--"aduane pe fie" literally means "food likes home", or in this case, food is at home!
Visiting Ghana and don't know of a good place to eat at. Take a cheap flight to Accra and do eat at the Asanka Locals Chop Bar which is known for its delicacies.
