Accra by Day & Night
(Ghana is 51 years! Click the website

Accra is the capital of the small, West African country of Ghana, which achieved its independence in 1957 from its colonial master, the United Kingdom. It celebrates 50 years in 2007, and is projecting itself fast and furiously as "gateway to West Africa". It's an exciting city, with its unique problems, but with it close to the Atlantic ocean, and many beaches, who can resist coming here? Come along...

Happy Independence Day, Ghana (for 6 March)

What can I say? Slowly getting back into the rhythm of blogging.

Ghana turns 51 tomorrow, 6 March, and as such, it is declared a statutory national holiday. People get back to work on Friday.

Happy Birthday!

I can't believe I missed, (forgot to recognize would be more accurate) independence. I am ashamed of myself as a Ghanaian. :( Even though I've had such a busy week, there is no excuse. To rectify the problem I shall be putting your site on my blogroll, as I regularly visit the sites I link to. Feel free to do the same if you like. Keep up the great posts. I miss Ghana :(
